Right next to the Melissani Cave lies the natural gem of Lake Karavomilos. It is formed by underground freshwater springs that mix with seawater from the sea, which is only a few metres away, to create a unique environment with a variety of flora and fauna.

The fortress of Assos, which rises majestically on a rocky outcrop on the northwest coast, is a testament to the island's rich history and strategic importance. What makes Assos Fortress attractive, however, are the breathtaking views and sunsets over the sea, which attract young couples to enjoy the romantic atmosphere.

The Mycenaean necropolis in Mazarakat dates back to the Late Bronze Age, approximately 15th to 12th century B.C. It served as a burial place for the elite and wealthy members of the island's society... The necropolis consists of many stone tombs, it is not large and the tour is free of charge.
