Melissani Cave

In the Melissani Cave there is a breathtaking underground lake, famous for its fascinating turquoise water. When part of the ceiling collapsed, an opening was created, allowing the sun's rays to penetrate inside and illuminate the waters of the lake. The ideal time to explore is between 12:00-13:00 when you're in for the experience of a lifetime.

Acropolis of Sami

The Sami Acropolis dates back to the Mycenaean period (approximately 1600-1100 BC) and was later inhabited by various civilizations, including the Romans and Byzantines. The site contains the remains of fortifications, temples, houses and other structures that provide a glimpse of the architectural and cultural achievements of the ancient inhabitants.

Foki Beach

Foki Beach looks completely different from all the other beaches on the island. It seems more like a mountain lake surrounded by conifers than a Mediterranean destination. The water is a magnificent shade of green and blue-black, and it's so clear you can see every detail on the sandy and rocky seabed. The rocky bottom, the moored boats and the greenery everywhere as far as the eye can see create a unique atmosphere that is totally unlike anything you'll find in Greece.

Amandakis Beach

The beach is not a beach, that's how Amandakis could be described. It is not exactly a beach, rather a large flat rock from which you have to jump into the sea and thus discover hidden corners under the sea surface. It may not look very appealing, and even we considered whether to visit Amadakis beach at all, but the kids loved the underwater world as a result.

Assos

The fortress of Assos, which rises majestically on a rocky outcrop on the northwest coast, is a testament to the island's rich history and strategic importance. What makes Assos Fortress attractive, however, are the breathtaking views and sunsets over the sea, which attract young couples to enjoy the romantic atmosphere.
