Vreiko Cave

Vreiko Cave offers a unique and adventurous experience for people who want to explore the lesser-known places on the island. Full of geological formations and completely unorganized, it is tempting to try out what it is like to be a spelunker. All you need is a good quality light source and sturdy shoes.

Mount Ainos

Mount Ainos is not only the highest mountain on the island, but also offers spectacular views and hiking trails. It is also home to a rare and beautiful herd of half-wild horses. You can sometimes find them drinking from the spring at the Zoodohos Pigi Monastery. In addition, you will find a variety of flora here.

Ancient Krani

When visiting ancient Krani, you can explore the remains of the Acropolis and other archaeological monuments and walk among the ancient walls and foundations that testify to the rich history of the settlement. The Cyclopean blocks left behind by the collapse of the Acropolis still attract attention. Also, this area is free.

Foki Beach

Foki Beach looks completely different from all the other beaches on the island. It seems more like a mountain lake surrounded by conifers than a Mediterranean destination. The water is a magnificent shade of green and blue-black, and it's so clear you can see every detail on the sandy and rocky seabed. The rocky bottom, the moored boats and the greenery everywhere as far as the eye can see create a unique atmosphere that is totally unlike anything you'll find in Greece.

Amandakis Beach

The beach is not a beach, that's how Amandakis could be described. It is not exactly a beach, rather a large flat rock from which you have to jump into the sea and thus discover hidden corners under the sea surface. It may not look very appealing, and even we considered whether to visit Amadakis beach at all, but the kids loved the underwater world as a result.

Assos

The fortress of Assos, which rises majestically on a rocky outcrop on the northwest coast, is a testament to the island's rich history and strategic importance. What makes Assos Fortress attractive, however, are the breathtaking views and sunsets over the sea, which attract young couples to enjoy the romantic atmosphere.
