Cape Drastis, on the north coast, offers spectacular scenery. It is a natural wonder known for its dramatic white cliffs, hidden sea caves and pristine beaches that are only accessible by boat. With its rugged landscape and turquoise waters, this remote area is often likened to a small fjord. An alternative to a boat trip is a visit to a lookout point where you can see it for yourself.
Boat trip
Cape Drastis can be reached by boat, you can take an organized excursion from a nearby beach such as Sidari, or have a boat shuttle take you to one of the mini-beaches. This place looks like something out of a fairy tale and should definitely not be missed.
Viewpoint
The other option is to drive to the car park from where the viewpoint is accessible. The drive from Sidari takes about 10 minutes and the car park is large enough. When you get out, you can immediately see the rocks rising out of the sea, but the lookout is still a little lower. Take the dirt road down and around each corner you'll see a slightly different view. You can continue all the way down, where you'll find yourself right on top of these unique rocks. But you can't walk all the way to the beach.
It's not a long walk and you won't spend much time here either unless you decide to explore the place by boat. Both are worth it.
If you're already in the area, don't miss Apotripiti Beach or run down to Logas Beach for the sunset.
