Landa Beach – a lesser known gem

Landa Beach can be found between Nissi and Makronissos beaches in Ayia Napa. It’s smaller, more compact than the neighbouring beaches, but that doesn’t detract from its beauty. Instead, the beach is perfect and offers a complete idyll. With its fine white sand, clear sea, shallow water and the surrounding scenery, you will have a day full of peace and relaxation. Although the water is around 30 degrees in August, it’s not completely refreshing, but you can swim in it all day long. All you need is an inflatable and nothing more.

We were lucky enough to have quite big waves towards the evening, which was especially appreciated by the kids. While the water near the shore remains completely calm, about 50 meters from the shore the waves break and that’s where the adventure begins,. This makes the beach an ideal destination for all ages.

There was more or less no underwater life, but the same was true for Nissi and Makronissos.

Landa Beach and its facilities

It is fully organized beach. You’ll find plenty of umbrellas and sun loungers and you can count on being safe even if you arrive later. Unlike the neighbouring beaches, it also has fewer visitors, perhaps because there are no hotels directly on it. In addition, there is a bar where you can buy various snacks, and water sports, as on the other beaches. You can rent a jet ski, boat, pedalo or go on a crazysofa.

Perfect relax in the water

Landa Beach is the perfect place to fool around with an inflatable – soft sand, clear water and waves that make you feel like you’re surfing on your own water throne. Just watch out for those bigger waves – sometimes they’ll give you a good spin and you could find yourself upside down. But when you manage to keep your balance, the view of the turquoise sea and sun-drenched surroundings is truly amazing. But that’s only true for the further stretches from the shore. Near the shore, the beach is perfectly safe .

How to get to Landa Beach?

Landa Beach is only 5 minutes walk from Makronissos Beach. You can get here on foot, by car or by bus. If you go by car, you can park in the paid parking for €4 for 6 hours. Taking the bus from Ayia Napa, board the 101 or 102 bus in the direction of WaterWorld Waterpark, and in about 5-7 minutes you will get off a short walk from the beach.
